The Sufferings Of Matthew Perry in his Entire life

Matthew Perry is a Canadian-American actor born on August 19, 1969. He is best known for his role in “Friends” show and his role in the movie “The Ron Clark Story”.

Perry was born Williamstown, Massachusetts. He was grown up in Ottawa, Ontario. While he was growing up, he took a keen interest in tennis and became a top-ranked junior player.

At the age of 15, he moved to Los Angeles for his career in acting. He did many shows and movies.

When he was starred in “Friends” he suffered from the addiction of Vicodin and alcohol.

Matthew Perry said “he didn’t remember three years of the shooting of “Friends”.

The actor Chandler big traveled through many ups and downs in his real life. His life was very complicated. It was not so simple that he would have thought of. He wouldn’t have imagined even about this kind of life. He suffered from so many complications.

1. “Addiction to Vicodin”

In 1997, when he met with an accident, “Jet Ski Accident”, the doctor suggested him to take painkiller which named Vicodin. He started consuming it. He was so much addicted to it that he continued its consumption even after when there was no need to take such painkiller. He said that he felt better with Vicodin and alcohol than any other thing in his entire life in front of “People’s Magazine” in the interview.

Matthew Perry has said, “Vicodin, I got addicted to that little pill. The reason I don’t talk about it too much in the press is that it is not funny in interviews. If you joke about that period in your life, it doesn’t seem right”.

The show “Friends” was on the way to success and it seemed like all the cast members are fully enjoying. But Matthew Perry due to his addiction to Vicodin and alcohol at that time felt unhappy and lonely. He was not enjoying the moment.

He admitted that he didn’t remember the three years of “Friends” because he was addicted to Vicodin and alcohol.

Matthew Perry’s addiction crises- with a sudden return to rehab, the star disrupts a movie set and sends Friends scrambling to finish the season.

2. “Rehabilitation”

Firstly, Matthew Perry was avoiding his addiction to Vicodin and alcohol. Then he took a break from his shoot for some time to recover from this. Due to the simulations of the doctor, he went again to his work. He was recovering soon from addiction. He thanked his family and friends for supporting him in his bad time.


3. “Suffering from Pancreatitis”

When he was in the course for rehabilitation, he suffered from the disease in pancreas and hepatitis. Due to these disease problems, he lost twenty pounds of his weight, which could even be seen between the episodes of two seasons. Though he sooner recovered from the sufferings and gained his weight and went back to his work.

Everything was going well till he met with an accident when he was on the way to meet his father. He says “He doesn’t remember anything that had happened at that time”. He was self-restrained. He decided to end it now. He again went for his recovery from the accident with the gap of one month from his work and returned back after rehabilitation to his work.
